## Function Keys Overview

Your laptop includes **12 function keys (`F1`–`F12`)** that provide quick access to various system features.

These keys can be used by holding down the **Fn** key while pressing the desired function key.

### Function Lock

You can toggle the **Function Lock** by pressing the **Lock** key.
When enabled, the F-keys will behave as if the **Fn** key is always held down—allowing you to use the shortcut functions directly without needing to press **Fn** each time.

### 1. Mute

Toggles mute on or off for the current audio output device.

### 2. Volume Down

Decreases the system volume.

### 3. Volume Up

Increases the system volume.

---

### 4. Display Select

Cycles through available display configurations—such as external monitors, mirrored displays, or extended screen setups.

### 5. Previous Media Track

Skips to the previous track in your current media player.

### 6. Play / Pause Media Track

Plays or pauses the current audio or video track.

### 7. Next Media Track

Skips to the next track in the media queue.

### 8. Display Brightness Down

Lowers the brightness of the built-in display.

### 9. Display Brightness Up

Increases the brightness of the built-in display.

### 10. Trackpad On / Off

Enables or disables the built-in trackpad.

### 11. Keyboard Backlight On / Off

Turns the keyboard backlight on or off.
