You can create, edit, and remove user accounts either through the terminal or graphically using the system settings.
This guide walks you through the **graphical method**, which is simple and beginner-friendly.

### 1. Open User Settings

1. Open the **GNOME Launcher** and select **Settings**.

2. In the left-hand menu, navigate to **Details → Users**.

3. To make any changes, click **Unlock** in the top-right corner of the window.

4. Enter your password when prompted.

Once unlocked, you’ll be able to add, modify, or remove users.

### 2. Add a New User

1. Click **Add User** in the top-right corner.

2. A window will appear allowing you to set details for the new account, such as:

**Account Type** (Standard or Administrator)

**Full Name**

**Username**

**Password options**

3. When you’ve entered the necessary information, click **Add** to create the account.

### 3. Modify an Existing User

You can also edit existing user accounts from the same window.

1. Select the user you’d like to edit from the list at the top of the window.

2. Update details such as the account type, password, or automatic login preferences.
