Duties and Taxes

For most countries, import charges are automatically calculated at checkout and shown in your order summary once you select a shipping method.

These are collected to cover applicable duties, taxes, and customs clearance/administration fees and are paid on your behalf when your order is imported (Delivered Duty Paid / DDP).

Import charges are calculated on the declared customs value (our internal cost price) because Star Labs acts as the importer of record. The amount remitted to customs may differ from the total import charge collected, as this fee also includes clearance and administrative costs.

Import charges are non-refundable once your order has cleared customs, as they are remitted to customs/courier partners and cannot be recovered.
(In a small number of destinations where import charges cannot be calculated at checkout, you may be asked to pay duties/taxes directly to the courier on delivery.)

Loss or Damage in Transit

Star Labs is responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during shipping when the carrier is selected by us.

If you arrange your own courier, responsibility for loss or damage transfers to you once the goods are collected.

Please notify us within three (3) working days of receiving your order if any items are missing or damaged so we can investigate promptly.
