**20 February - Shipping Update
**
We’re just finishing up the November 2025 orders and expect to begin dispatching December 2025 orders on Monday.
16 February - Shipping Update
Orders placed up until and including October 2025 have now all been dispatched. Orders placed in November are currently
being prepared and will begin dispatching tomorrow.
10 February - Shipping Update
Orders placed up until and including June 2025 have now all been dispatched. Orders placed in July, August, and
September are currently being prepared and will be dispatched within the next two days.
We really appreciate everyone's patience during this process.
4 February - Shipping Update
By tomorrow, we expect to have dispatched all pre-2025 orders and January–February 2025 orders.
3 February - Production Update
The StarFighters arrived with us yesterday - and we’re incredibly excited to finally be able to say that.
We spent the rest of the day unpacking, organising, and getting everything set up in the workshop, and from today we’re
moving into full-scale dispatch across all models and variants.
There are just a couple of remaining orders from pre-January 2025, which will be going out first, and then we’ll move
straight into January orders, with everything shipping in strict chronological order.
Thank you, as always, for your patience and support. Getting to this point is a huge milestone for us, and we’re so
happy to finally be sending StarFighters out into the world.
30 January 2026 - Production Update
The StarFighters arrived in the UK yesterday. While we were hoping to receive them with us today, delivery is now
scheduled for Monday.
A small number of Intel StarFighters have already gone out this week. From next week, we’ll be moving into proper,
full-scale dispatch, including both Intel and AMD variants, with orders shipping in chronological order.
We’ll post a confirmation update once the shipment has arrived with us and dispatch is fully underway.
27 January 2026 - Production Update
The remaining StarFighters left the factory on Friday and are now on their way to the UK! 🎉
They’re currently due to arrive in the UK on Thursday, with delivery to us expected on Friday, assuming everything stays
on schedule. Once they’re safely in our hands, we’ll post a confirmation update.
In the meantime, dispatch of the first Intel StarFighters will begin this week, with orders shipping in chronological
order.
22 January 2026 - Production Update
While our developers are putting the finishing touches on firmware and carrying out final validation checks, we thought
we’d share a quick sneak peek.
This is the first unboxing of one of the very first StarFighter laptops to arrive with us, giving you a look at the
design, build quality, and everything included in the box.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing more videos on our YouTube channel covering performance, the webcam, speakers,
and pretty much everything you’d want to know about the StarFighter.
21 January 2026 - Production Update
The first batch of StarFighters has arrived - a truly momentous day for us after such a long journey. We wanted to share
a quick update before the end of the day, and we’ll be posting photos over the next day or two once we’ve had a chance
to capture everything properly.
We’re really pleased with how the machines look and feel. They’re now going through thorough checks here, along with a
couple of small firmware tweaks. Assuming everything continues as expected, we’re aiming to start shipping next week.
With the first units safely in hand, we’ve now given the go-ahead to our forwarder to send the main shipment, which we
currently expect to arrive next week.
Shipping will take place in strict chronological order. We do have a small number of very long-standing customers who
have been waiting since the very first StarFighter release a few years ago, and those units will be dispatched first.
After that, we’ll begin shipping January 2025 orders.
As mentioned previously, this initial batch includes a very small number of Intel StarFighters across specific
configurations. Even if you ordered in January, availability varies by SKU and keyboard layout, so not all
configurations are included in this first wave.
A quick note as we move into shipping: we’re a small team, and everyone here is involved in both answering support
emails and preparing orders for dispatch. Over the next couple of weeks, it’s very much all hands on deck to get
StarFighters out the door as quickly as possible. You’re always welcome to get in touch (especially if something is
urgent), but where possible, checking this page for updates really helps us keep things moving smoothly. We’ll continue
to update this page regularly so you can see exactly where we’re up to (for example, when we move on to February
orders).
Thank you, as always, for your patience and support - reaching this point is a huge milestone for us, and we’re excited
to finally get StarFighters into your hands.
15 January 2026 - Production Update
The first Intel StarFighters are expected to arrive on Tuesday.
The shipment took a little longer than we initially hoped due to international shipping logistics, but everything is now
moving as planned. Once the machines arrive, we’ll carry out a small number of final checks in our workshop. These are
straightforward and won’t take long, but they allow us to confirm everything is exactly as expected before the remaining
units are dispatched.
The remainder of the StarFighters have completed their final checks and preparation and are ready for shipping. As this
is our first larger production run of StarFighter units, we’re taking a little extra care at this stage and waiting for
the first machines to arrive so we can give them a quick once-over before releasing the rest.
Following this, the remaining units will be sent to us via air freight, allowing us to proceed directly to preparation
and dispatch.
We’ll share another update once the first machines have arrived and the next shipment is underway.
We’re aiming to have all StarFighter units on their way to us by mid-next week.
As we move closer to shipping, this is also a good time to double-check your order details, including your delivery
address, phone number, operating system choice, and configuration - to make sure everything is correct.
6 January 2026 - Production Update
We’re pleased to confirm that the first batch of 50 Intel StarFighter units has completed testing and is now ready to
leave the factory. These units are scheduled to depart today and will shortly be on their way to the UK.
More good news: production of the remaining StarFighter units has now been completed, and they’re currently going
through final testing and quality control. The aim is for these units to be dispatched to the UK next week.
As outlined in our previous update, sending this first batch ahead allows us to carry out final firmware checks and
preparation while the remaining units are being finalised, helping everything progress as smoothly and efficiently as
possible.
Once the first machines arrive with us, we’ll begin preparing them for dispatch and will confirm the shipping schedule
for both this batch and the remaining units shortly after. We’ll share another update when the first 50 units have
arrived and the remainder are on their way to the UK.
23 December 2025 - Production Update
AMD SMT is scheduled for tomorrow, and the PCBA is on track to be delivered to the factory by Saturday.
The first 50 Intel units have now gone through initial production, and we’re really pleased with how smoothly everything
went. The team identified one small tweak needed on one of the hinges, and the updated parts are arriving at the factory
on Friday. Once fitted, this first batch will be on its way to us so we can start preparing them for dispatch.
With everything lining up well, mass production for the remaining units is expected to begin next week.
For those who celebrate, we hope you have a fantastic Christmas break. While we’ll also be taking a little time off, the
factory will continue progressing through the next steps, and we’ll remain in close contact to keep everything moving
forward.
18 December 2025 - Production Update
Today is a big milestone for the StarFighter - final assembly has begun.
Final assembly on the first batch of 50 Intel StarFighter units started today. This follows the factory’s standard
process: a small initial batch is fully assembled, tested, inspected, and quality-checked before scaling up to the
remaining units.
While the factory doesn’t usually split shipments at this stage, they’ve agreed to do so this time so we can start
getting machines out as soon as possible.
Sending this initial batch to us will not delay final assembly of the remaining units. In fact, it helps things move
more efficiently overall, as we can begin preparing and dispatching machines while the rest of production continues at
the factory. As a small team, this early handover allows us to complete the final steps (including SSD installation, OS
and firmware setup, and final checks) without creating a bottleneck later on.
On the AMD side, the mainboards have passed their final pre-production checks, and SMT has begun.
We’ll share another update once this initial batch has completed assembly and testing.
12 December 2025 - Production Update
SMT on the Intel StarFighter mainboards has now been completed, and the boards were delivered to the factory today. The
AMD mainboards are currently going through their scheduled testing phase before SMT, and we’ll share the confirmed SMT
timing in our next update.
Factory preparations are scheduled to begin tomorrow as planned, with the production setup moving ahead as soon as the
team has everything in place.
We’ll post another update by the end of the week.
10) December 2025 - Production Update
The factory has provided the updated schedule, outlining the remaining steps in the process.
SMT on the mainboards is scheduled to be completed this Friday. The finished boards will then be delivered to the
factory on Tuesday. Once they’re received, the team will move straight into the final production setup on the 17th
or 18th, with mass production beginning on the 19th.
Under this timetable, production is expected to be completed around the 25th. This reflects the factory’s updated plan
following the recent SMT and sequencing work and gives us a clear view of the path to completion.
We’ll post another update as soon as the mainboards have arrived and production is underway.
09) December 2025 - Production Update
We're just waiting on one last piece of information, and then we'll be able to work out when production will be
finished. We'll have this information tomorrow, so we'll post an update then.
04) December 2025 - Production Update
During the initial test batch, we found that the wireless module wasn’t powering on reliably. This only became clear
once the full system was assembled and running on real hardware. We traced the problem to a combination of hardware and
sequencing conditions and decided to fix the root cause rather than work around it. That meant making small electrical
adjustments to the board and refining the firmware that handles power sequencing. The issue is now fully understood and
resolved. The updated design also allowed us to move more of the control logic to an interrupt-driven model, improving
response times to under 10 microseconds.
Where we are now.
All changes have been validated and signed off. The wireless issue is fixed, and SMT is officially underway.
We recognise that this added some time to the schedule, and we appreciate your patience while we addressed it properly.
The upside is that we caught the issue early in production, and the fix ensures the final product behaves as it should.
We’ll post another update by the 8th of December with details of what our timeline now looks like.
20) November 2025 - Production Update
Here’s the latest update as we move closer to the finish line.
Over the past couple of weeks, all remaining components have been prepared and are ready for assembly. The final step
outstanding is the SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) process for the mainboards. The SMT partner is currently completing
some final checks and minor adjustments on their side (primarily firmware-related), and once that’s resolved, they’ll
begin component placement and automated soldering.
As soon as the SMT stage is complete, the finished mainboards will be delivered directly to our primary factory (they’re
very close, so the transfer will be quick), and full system production can begin. Based on the latest information we’ve
received, we’re hoping this will happen toward the end of next week, but we’ll post an update as soon as we have a
confirmed production start date.
Given how close we are now, we’ll also share a short update next week to confirm once final assembly officially begins.
06) November 2025 - Production Update
Over the past couple of weeks, the factory has been busy receiving the finalised components needed for the StarFighter’s
production - including the trackpads, housings, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antennas, speakers, and cameras.
Still to arrive are the keyboards, screen cables, and fans, which are due within the next couple of weeks, all in time
for production to begin during the week of 24th November.
We’ve also been conducting intensive performance and thermal testing, and we’re excited to share that we’ve achieved
even higher performance from the 125H variant thanks to cooling upgrades.
Everything’s on track, and we’re getting very close now - thank you all for your continued patience and enthusiasm!
23) October 2025 - Production Update
Just popping in with a quick update to let you know we’re still here and still moving forward! There’s nothing major to
report this time, but we didn’t want to go quiet - we know how important it is to keep you in the loop.
Thanks for sticking with us - more updates soon!
14) October 2025 - Production Update
We’re sorry this has taken longer than expected, and we appreciate your patience. Here’s the latest confirmed plan from
the factory:
**Factory schedule: **final assembly is confirmed for 24/11/25. We’ve asked the factory to do everything possible to
bring this forward; if that changes, we’ll update this page immediately.
What happens next (estimates):
- 24–30 Nov: Final assembly at the factory (~1 week)
- 1–7 Dec: Inspection, packaging, and export booking (~1 week)
- w/c 8 Dec: Units depart the factory for the UK (transit typically ~1 week)
- Mid-December onward: On arrival, it’s all hands on deck - we’ll complete inbound checks and dispatch orders in
strict chronological order
About the delay: this plan is ~6 weeks later than our previous estimate. The shift is due to the earlier mainboard
debugging taking longer than expected, plus a small amount of extra time added for firmware development to ensure a
clean sign-off.
Scheduling note: the next official update will be on 23/10/25.
As always, these are estimates, not promises, and may shift if the factory timeline changes. We’ll keep this page
updated the moment we have new information.
06) October 2025 - Production Update
As you’re aware, there was a slight delay due to mainboard debugging, but this has now been fully resolved as previously
mentioned. We’ve also completed the firmware, which is another big step forward and brings us closer to final
production.
Right now, the factory is closed for a Chinese holiday, so on-site work is briefly paused. As soon as they reopen, I’ll
be pushing for a clear completion timeline and will share that with you. I’m aiming to post an update on the page by the
end of this week once I have more details.
About our page:
- We’ve stuck to production updates every two weeks and will continue to do so.
- We’ve had mixed feedback on the extra content: some of you prefer only progress updates, while others have asked for
more behind-the-scenes detail.
- The recent photos and the video with Sean were extras in response to those requests - not a replacement for
scheduled news.
- Going forward, we'll keep posting fortnightly Production Updates. If we have extra content between those (short
clips, photos, notes), we’ll share it in between.
- Everything will be clearly labelled “Production Update” vs “Additional Content” so you can easily skip anything
you’re not interested in.
- As always, if you’d prefer not to wait, you can cancel your order any time for a full refund - no questions asked.
We truly appreciate your continued support and patience, as we know how much trust it takes to stick with a project like
this, and we don’t take that lightly. Everyone here genuinely cares about delivering something you’ll be proud to own,
and we’re incredibly grateful to have such a supportive community behind us.

25) September 2025 - Additional Content
Optimisations underway; we're just about to start tuning these to get the best out of the hardware, but even
unoptimised, we're seeing good results (even with a stock install of Ubuntu 24.04 that could really do with a newer
kernel!).
We'll post results after our improvements have been made; more immediately, a video will be inbound to this page
tomorrow!
